Wild Wood Equestrian Center, located in Hartland, Wisconsin, is a full-service, hunter-jumper facility. We are located just two miles north of Highway 16 on County Hwy KE. Wild Wood is year around facility with a heated barn that houses 10×12 stalls, a climate controlled tack room, warm water shower stall and observation room complete with water fountain, microwave and refrigerator. The attached 75’x185′ indoor arena protects you from both the cold of the winter and heat of the summer.
The stalls are floored with rubber mats and pine shavings. The stalls are cleaned daily and supplied with on-demand hay grown and bailed on the property. Grain and supplements are specifically-tailored to each horse and are fed three times daily. When the weather requires, barn sheets and turnout clothing or flyspray are applied free of additional charge.
Outdoor turnout happens daily if weather permits. Each horse has their own spacious 74′ x 300′ paddock with grass and dry-lot options. Turn out occurs for four hours in both the morning and afternoon to allow for a convenient riding schedule.
A schedule of worming, vet checks and dentist vists are scheduled yearly to make sure all horses are healthy and vaccinations are kept current. Farrier services are also available for those who wear shoes. A blanket washing service visits several times a year and can arrange for the cleaning of all your sheets and blankets. Although these services come with an additional cost, the coordination of the appointments can be handled by our staff.
Boarding is $600 per month and can be paid by cash, check and electronically. Boarders must participate in a lesson program specifically designed for horse and rider. One activity per week is required, either a lesson or a training ride.
